Biography:Tamanna Santosh Bhatia (born 21 December 1989), better known as Tamannaah Bhatia, is an Indian actress, model, and dancer who works predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. She made her acting debut in the Hindi film *Chand Sa Roshan Chehra* (2005). She subsequently appeared in the Telugu film *Sri* (2005) and the Tamil film *Kedi* (2006). Her breakthrough came with Sekhar Kammula's coming-of-age film *Happy Days* (2007) and Balaji Sakthivel's Tamil drama *Kalloori* (2007).
Over a career spanning more than 75 feature films, Tamannaah established herself as a bankable leading actress in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Her credits include *Padikathavan* (2009), *Ayan* (2009), *Paiyaa* (2010), *Siruthai* (2011), *100% Love* (2011), *Racha* (2012), *Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu* (2012), *Thadaka* (2013), *Veeram* (2014), *Oopiri* / *Thozha* (2016), *Dharma Durai* (2016), *Devi* / *Abhinetri* (2016), *F2: Fun and Frustration* (2019), and *Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy* (2019). She portrayed Avanthika in S. S. Rajamouli's films *Baahubali: The Beginning* (2015) and *Baahubali 2: The Conclusion* (2017). She also appeared in song sequences including "Kaavaalaa" in Nelson Dilipkumar's *Jailer* (2023) and "Aaj Ki Raat" in *Stree 2* (2024).
Tamannaah has also worked in Hindi cinema and digital streaming, appearing in *Babli Bouncer* (2022), *Plan A Plan B* (2022), *Lust Stories 2* (2023), the investigative crime thriller series *Aakhri Sach* (2023), *Vedaa* (2024), *Sikandar Ka Muqaddar* (2024), the horror-comedy film *Aranmanai 4* (2024), and the Malayalam film *Bandra* (2023). Her later credits include the Telugu supernatural thriller *Odela 2* (2025), the series *Daring Partners* (2025), *O' Romeo* (2026), alongside Sidharth Malhotra. She received the Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2010, as well as CineMAA and SIIMA Awards and an honorary doctorate.
